With this new center, the company consolidates itself in Andalusia and the Mediterranean area, facilitating access to quality reproductive medicine for patients from the eastern part of the region, as well as international patients thanks to the easy interconnections it offers Malaga Airport.

“2022 is proving to be a strategic year for our company. We have opened Barcelona and Malaga, strengthening our presence in the north and south of the peninsula. And we are going to continue with new openings throughout Spain, because we want to facilitate our patients' access to quality Reproductive Medicine, both in human equipment, as well as in technological equipment and facilities” , says Felipe Sagaseta, CEO of Ginemed and GeneraLife for Spain and Portugal.

For Dr. Arantxa Pérez, Head of Ginemed Málaga, “the opening of the new center is going to mark a before and after in reproductive medicine in Malaga. Not only because of the scientific approach to the cases, but also because of the human approach that the group makes to the treatments. Being part of Ginemed will allow us to carry out highly personalized reproductive medicine, focusing on what the patient needs. Good proof of this are the Guaranteed Results Programs, which assure the patient of the aspects that generate the most uncertainty: the results and the cost.”

Glass laboratories so that patients can see the fertilization process live

The Ginemed Assisted Reproduction Units have made their laboratories with glass walls with the aim of bringing laboratory work closer to the patient, emphasizing transparency and quality. In this sense, all laboratory processes(vitrification, microinjection, stripping, uptake, transfer) are connected to cameras, so that the patient can see them through the glass .

The new center in Malaga will also have these facilities, so that, every day, doctors and patients will be able to 'peek out' to contemplate behind the glass how 'the cellular origin of human life' happens. The new Reproduction laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, with the optimum levels of purity in the air being of special importance, as well as the temperature and humidity conditions, monitoring all the incubators, nitrogen tanks, refrigerator through a sensors, which in the event of any alteration notify the embryologist directly to his mobile phone.
