The Vithas Hospital Sevilla, where our Obstetrics unit is located, awarded as the best Maternal and Child Hospital 2021 at the BHS Awards

The award highlights the work and effort of dozens of professionals who wake up every day with the hope of offering the best of medicine to people.

The Vithas Hospital Sevilla, where our Obstetrics Unit is located, has been awarded the "Best Hospital" award in the Maternal and Child category 2021 (Delivery, Neonates and Paediatrics) of intermediate private hospitals in the third edition of the Best Spanish Hospital Awards .

“This award is for all those mothers who have trusted our team to take care of them and their babies. For them, we will continue working and improving ourselves every day, so that their experience is satisfactory, respected, accompanied, informed, cared for and, above all, so that they feel at home”, says Dr. Patricia Marín , gynecologist at the Vithas-Ginemed Seville Obstetrics Unit.

For his part, Dr. Pascual Sánchez, medical manager and co-founder of Ginemed, wanted to value the work and effort of each of the professionals who have made this recognition possible: “together we are building something very big, a fact that would not be possible without the great human team that makes up the Unit, those who have really made it possible for us to get to where we are and continue to grow, professionally and personally, because only in this way can we offer the best of medicine to people ”.

The ranking has been prepared by the consulting firm Higia Benchmarking and the leading healthcare coding company ASHO -conveners of the BSH-, with the endorsement of the Spanish Society of Health Directors (SEDISA).

To select the winners, the organization has analyzed more than 250 indicators of efficiency, adequacy and quality of care in 10 categories. In this edition of the awards, 122 hospitals from all over Spain have participated, 65 public and 57 private, compared to the 105 that participated in 2020.
